  • The Wednesday night program will continue throughout the summer.  Parents, even if your child has never come on Wednesday nights, give it a try.  It might be easier to come since your child doesn't have school the next day.  We have a lot of fun with games, prayer, catechism, snack, story, and craft.  We are continuing to go through the letters of the alphabet.  Each of our activities has something to do with the letter of the night.  Come from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday nights in the Education Building.  No need to register and no cost.   

Summer Fun Club 2008

Monday, June 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  This year our name will be The Summer Servants.  Being a servant will be our theme.  We will learn about people in the Bible that were servants.  The club has moved to Mondays so that we can make our craft and snack for the shut-ins that the Encouragement group visit on Monday afternoons.  This way we will be serving the shut-ins.  We also may join the Encouragement group and go on some of the visits.  We will also have games, a memory verse each week, and singing.  It will cost $2 a day to help pay for craft and snack.  Registration will start the beginning of June.  



Helpers Needed :

Summer Fun Club Helpers needed.  Do you like cooking?  You could plan and lead the children as they make a little snack for the shut-ins.  Do you like crafts?  You could plan and lead the children as they make crafts for the shut-ins.  Do you like playing games?  You could plan and lead the children in some fun games.  Please call Lisa Lennon if you can help.  It could be just one Monday or all summer long.   Wednesday night helpers are also needed.  Call Lisa Lennon if you can help Wednesday nights.   Many of you have helped me so much in the past, thank you.  Wasn't it fun?  Consider helping again.  If you have never helped, give it a try.  The children are really fun to be around.
