What makes Awana unique?

  1. Awana is centered on the gospel.
  2. Bible memory is a key element of our curriculum.
  3. We use a complete and systematic approach for training kids from preschool to high school to know, love and serve Christ.
  4. Our exclusive circle games generate maximum fun at Awana meetings.
  5. Training materials fully prepare a local church’s volunteer leadership.
  6. Children and youth are also trained to serve.
  7. Awana missionaries and their ministry teams provide hands-on training opportunities to the local church.
  8. We offer special events as outreach tools and service opportunities for young people and their families and friends.
  9. Awana programs and materials are designed to influence unsaved parents, too.
  10. Parents are trained to be their children’s primary spiritual caregivers through Awana Children’s Ministry Conferences and local training sessions .

Helpers Needed :

Wednesday night helpers are needed.  Would like to mentor a child one-on-one?  Teach them about what a Bible verse means?  Listen to them say their Bible verse from memory?  We need your help!  Please come to Education Bldg. at 6:40 P.M. and stay until 7:00 P.M. (or a little before that).  You can then go to one of the adult classes that start at 7:00 P.M.  Call Lisa Lennon if you can help Wednesday nights.   Many of you have helped me so much in the past, thank you.  Wasn't it fun?  Consider helping again.  If you have never helped, give it a try.  The children are really fun to be around.
**** If you can help, call Lisa Lennon (433-2540).
